First thing/// Stumbled across this article while reading The New York Times online this morning: Computers vs. Brains I found this pretty interesting being that I only hear about how singularity WILL happen, inevitably. Nice to read about the flip side of this theory.

Second thing/// Watched the documentary Surfwise the other day. Totally radical (and moving) movie. Highly recommended. Peep the trailer:

Third thing/// This guy takes the kind of pictures I like to look at: Patrick Trefz (click it!) I can't wait to get that book. His surfing documentary of the same name is supposed to be pretty dope as well. I need to check it out, but am not looking forward to shelling out 23 plus dollars on Amazon to get it. Any ideas on another source? Hit me up.

Fourth Thing/// The Brian Jonestown Massacre just released a new EP yesterday entitled "Smoking Acid." Love that title. Anyway....I like it. A lot. BJM also played the Fine Line last week. I unfortunately was not in attendance, but I heard it was most excellent. Read about my friend Ben's experience over at his blog: Cancers from 1970.
