The album art for the new Oasis album is siiiick yo! Seriously, some of the best album art I've seen in a while. "Who was it done by?" you may ask. The answer is Julian House. The same guy who created another one of my favorite album covers, that being Primal Scream's XTRMNTR, as well as others for the likes of Prodigy and Broadcast. He is apparently "the most expensive graphic designer in London," or so says Noel Gallagher. See:
'I didn't spend a year in the most expensive studio in england, with the most expensive producer in america, and the most expensive graphic designer in london to then give [the album] away. fuck that.'
Thats Noel for ya I guess, love 'em or hate 'em. (By the way, "the most expensive producer" he is speaking of is Dave Sardy of the now defunct Barkmarket. He brings the dirt.)
The album is bomb by the way, definitely should be checked out by all.
Collage is the new green.
